Saturday Zoom Dances

IACD sponsors a dance every Saturday on Zoom! Friends from around the United States and the world come together for movement. This is an open dance for anyone…no experience is necessary! We usually meet at 10:00 am, Pacific Standard Time. If you have questions or would like the Zoom link to the dance session, please contact Sue Biggs at sbiggs@gci.net. Sue sends out the invites. If you know someone who would like to be put on the list for the Zoom invitation, let her know.

Also, on the 1st Saturday of the month, we add an extra class for those around the globe whose schedules don’t allow them to attend the regular Saturday Zoom classes. It is Saturday at 5:00 pm Pacific, which is Sunday morning for those in the Western Pacific rim.

Contact Sue, also, if you would like to teach one of the Saturday/Sunday dances.

Saturday Zoom Dances are offered free of charge. We welcome donations to help cover the cost of running Saturday dances! (Suggested $5 donation per dance.)

VIDEO AND DISCUSSION POP-UPS
Hosted by Helen Horigan - helenhorigan@yahoo.com.
About once a month, there is an opportunity to meet on Zoom and watch and discuss Mettler video clips together.
We’ve focused on theme development and the time element in the last two gatherings.

The sessions last about 1.5 hours and are open to anyone interested in learning more about Barbara’s approach to dance.
The Zoom invitation will go out to the community several days before each session.
Links will be included for those who want to watch on their own.

Meanwhile, dance a little each day!!

Zoom Project:
Sue Biggs is gathering dancers’ experiences and thoughts about the Zoom process and how it has brought our world-wide community together with a particular emphasis on the friendships formed in the Saturday dances. She is hoping to create an informative piece including screen shots of dancers. If you have any experiences or thoughts you would like to share with her for this project, please reach out to her at sbiggs@gci.net.
